What date can I expect to be notified that I've been approved to take either Basic or Refresher training?
Students will be notified no later than April 6, 2011.

What date can I expect to be notified if I am on a waiting list for Basic or Refresher training?
In the event that a space in the Basic CHR Training becomes available, students will be notified no later than May 2, 2011. In the event that a space in the Refresher CHR Training becomes available, students will be notified no later than June 17, 2011.

How do I know if my Tribe has taken or left its HQ CHR shares?
Kauffman & Associates, Inc. (KAI) will send out notices to all applicants to inform them whether or not they have been accepted and their shares status.

How much will the training cost if my Tribe has taken its HQ CHR shares?
The registration fee for the Basic CHR Training is $1,550 plus all travel costs. The registration fee for the CHR Refresher Training is $975 plus all travel costs.

When do we have to pay?
If the Tribe you work for has taken its CHR shares, you will receive a letter notifying you of that and we will provide instructions for how to submit the payment. Kauffman & Associates, Inc. does not accept purchase orders (POs). Payment must be received at least 2 weeks prior to the beginning of class. The best practice we strongly recommend is to start the payment process early within the Tribe.

How long does it take to complete the pre-course materials?
You have at least 45 days to complete the workbook, take the test(s), and return them to the address provided. Send the complete packet back as soon as you complete it – don’t delay! Late materials will not be accepted.
